Hello everyone,

Here is our SEO report for February 2026
<https://dashboard.tomassous.com/dr-cinik/february-2026/>.

February traffic is down versus January, and it’s worth being transparent
about why. Three things happened at the same time:

   - *Discover dropped to 0.* January had an exceptional +58,000 Discover
clicks thanks to a Google algorithm effect that couldn’t be sustained. A
new Google update now favors sites with a local presence in the user’s
country, which we didn’t have. We’re working on a fix (more on this below).
   - *Seasonal demand is lower.* February is historically a weaker month
for hair transplant searches across all markets.
   - *Mid-month ranking volatility.* Google was very unstable in February.
We took hits on some positions mid-month, then recovered fully by end of
   month.

The important thing: *we ended February with our top positions intact
across English, French and Italian.*

*✍️ Content, PR & Links*

   - ✅ *PR Chicago Bulls* article published
   - Blog articles are being published across all markets and will be
   completed shortly
   - A few netlinking links from this month are still in progress and will
   be published soon

*🏆 Competitor Media Investment*

Market demand for hair transplants is declining, but competitors have not
stopped investing in links. When the market shrinks, organic visibility
becomes a competitive advantage. Here’s what was published in February:
Clinic Top placements Markets targeted
*Cosmedica* Closer FR (DR 69), Sud Radio FR (DR 73), Handelsblatt DE (DR
89), Metro Times US (DR 76) 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇺🇸
*Serkan Aygin* Hollywood Life US (DR 78), Daily Record UK (DR 81), Outlook
India (DR 87), Il Giornale IT (DR 78) 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇮🇹 🇮🇳
*Smile Hair* LA Times US (DR 92), National Law Review US (DR 85), regional
FR press 🇺🇸 🇫🇷
*Dr. Cinik* AP News (DR 92), Yahoo Finance (DR 94), Investing.com (DR 91) +
68 syndications via Chicago Bulls partnership. OK Magazine US, Bravewords
US, Glorissima IT. 3 Italian placements pending (Valori Normali, Gossip.it,
Tag24). 🇺🇸 🇮🇹

*Dr. Cinik dominated February* with 71 publications from the Chicago Bulls
partnership alone no competitor was close. But Cosmedica and Serkan Aygin
are still actively investing. The next step is converting this month’s
momentum into targeted placements on those markets before that space fills
up.

*📰 SEO News*

   - *Discover Core Update (Feb 5–27).* Google’s first-ever
Discover-specific update. The main change is that Google now prioritizes
content from sites that have a local Google Business Profile in the user’s
country. This is why we couldn’t replicate January’s Discover surge. We are
already working on the fix: we’re updating the microdata on our blog
articles to attribute them to Dr. Cinik London, so we can qualify for UK
   Discover traffic going forward.
   - *7+ Weeks of Ranking Volatility.* Google has been very unstable since
the December 2025 Core Update, with notable spikes on Feb 2, 10 and 15. We
were impacted mid-month and *fully recovered by end of February*, which
is a good signal about the quality of our content.
   - *Google Now Requires Identified Authors.* Google updated its
documentation to formally require author credentials on all content pages.
This works in our favor: Dr. Cinik is our named expert author with a
Wikipedia page and citations from Reuters, MSN and The Mirror.
   - *AI Overviews Now on 88% of Healthcare Searches.* This sounds alarming
but almost all of these are informational queries. Our commercial keywords
like “hair transplant turkey” are not affected.

Best regards,

Tom
