September marks a return to normal performance levels following August’s exceptional results driven by extensive media coverage related to the tragic event. Traffic and conversions declined as expected after this temporary peak. Despite this normalization, we delivered a solid month, we did our 3rd best month in 2025 in terms of SEO leads generated, we maintained strong rankings, and our newer markets showing growth.

- **Google August 2025 Spam Update (Completed September 22):** Google’s first spam update of 2025 started on August 26 and completed its rollout on September 22, taking 27 days total. This update hit hard and fast, with impacted sites seeing results within about 24 hours. Around September 9, the update heated up again with significant ranking fluctuations. **Our site remained completely unaffected by this update**, confirming our continued white-hat SEO approach.
- **Google Search Console Reporting Changes (September 2025):** Google implemented significant changes to how it tracks and reports impressions in Search Console. The system disabled the parameter that allowed viewing more than 10 search results per page in automated requests, effectively filtering out bot traffic and focusing on real human impressions. This industry-wide change caused impression drops across many websites - however, if clicks, average position, and actual visits remain steady (which they have for us), the site is performing as well as before. This is primarily a reporting adjustment, not a performance decline.

As anticipated, rankings returned to more stable patterns following August’s media coverage related to the tragic event. The extensive media coverage in early August had created temporary ranking boosts across multiple keywords. September shows a natural correction, though **the decline was less severe than expected, particularly in France and the UK markets**. Most keywords stabilized rather than falling significantly.

**Strategic Observations:**

**Back to Normal - But Still Strong:** September represents a return to normal patterns following August’s exceptional circumstances driven by unprecedented media coverage related to the tragic event. Despite the normalization, we delivered a solid month with 776 total SEO conversions - a performance that remains strong in absolute terms.

**Rankings Resilience in Key Markets:** While rankings experienced some decline from August’s peak positions, the drop was less severe than anticipated, particularly in the French and UK markets:

- **French market:** “greffe de cheveux turquie” only dropped from #1 to #2, maintaining excellent visibility
- **UK market:** “hair transplant turkey” stabilized at #3 (down from temporary #1), better than projected
- Treatment-specific keywords (FUE, DHI) maintained their #1 positions across markets

**New Markets Exceeding Expectations:** Our Turkish and Serbian markets demonstrated remarkable conversion efficiency growth (134.5% and 350% respectively), validating our expansion strategy despite stable traffic levels. This indicates strong market fit and effective localization.

The slight year-over-year conversion decline (-5.5%) is significantly better than the traffic decline (-36.7%), confirming that our website improvements and conversion optimization efforts continue to deliver results even during normalization periods.

**Moving Forward:**
